Good wobblez!

The wobblez are good, your drums need work though, the kick drum way too harsh, unEQ'd, some interesting high hats and a stronger snare would do the trick.
rest sounds pretty okay to me :)

Im experimenting with dubstep aswell, it's a tough job to get things right at start, check my tunes if you're interested ;-)

Basic

Basic is good, but I don't really like the arpeggiator that kicks in at 0.25, it sounds like a cheap preset, and kinda ruins the rest of the song imo. It gets better at the end but I'd still try other sounds out, and have a more subtle arpeggiator ;)

Sounds like it's too empty

Well to start off the clash that you use for a snare doesn't really fit in the atmosphere you're trying to create with this song.

The vocals are used good, they fit well and they're not repetitive, good job!

Bass is good, could've been abit louder, just a small bit. But your main problem is the lack of variation I think, which makes your bass sound abit dull in the end, try experimenting with cutoff frequencies to alternate your bass sound.

I'm missing some pads, like the one you used at the start aswell as some random sounds that would just fill up the song abit, and give a finishing touch.

Overall it's a good song with potential, you got some work though :)
Also, I noticed a big influence of Omen - Rise (N-Type remix) , if you don't know it, check it out i'm sure you'll like it ;-)

Check my page for some dubstep aswell bro,

Reign

Awesome

Very Nero/The Streets like indeed, you did an awesome job still.
I'm not 100% behind the sound you chose for your wobble bass, but that's more personal taste.

Very good drum use, you should PM me how to make such a punchy kickdrum, I've been struggling with those ;)

Cheers for the review bro - much appreciated!

Yeah the bass-synth is a bit alt style, veered a bit from the generic wobble bass...
But yeah man, your pm is on its way!

Yep

This should be released on EP, very nice thing you got there.
I'm curious to hear a vocal demo of this one ;)

It's usable.

yeah u could use this as bassline, but I recommend getting NI Massive if you're really wanna get some dirty basslines

Also, add a solid subbass and get producing :P

Very good

One of the best dubstep tunes I've heard so far on NG, my compliments.
I suggest adding a subbass so the real bass sounds less empty, dry.

its good

It's good, nice dub tune but it's abit too minimalist imo
a solid subbass would do wonders i think :)

JoelBulsara responds:

Yeah, I was thinking of re-working or making a "part 2" to it, which would more interesting.

Yeah I think ill slip a subbass in and then submit the new one :D
Thanks!

feeling it

I really liked the way you added some electro elements on a dubstep tempo and beat, something i haven't seen often before
adds a whole new dimension to the song aswell as more power imo. the drums are good, high hats abit loud but that's nothing that cannot be fixed. Bass is totally awesome and so is the lead.

About curb stomper, it's less good than this one imo, but i seriously LOVE the high lead notes, they kinda blew my mind :)

PR0FAN1TY responds:

Well i heard about electro dubstep before but never really heard so i thought id just give it a stab in the dark i guess.
Didnt really how to make a good electro intro so i thought id guess fuse the two genre's together.

Yeah i reckon curb stomper is aboit more repedative than this one but it has more power in the bas and drums,so i do prefer it to this one to be honest, and yeah also cause of those high lead notes they turned out really well.

Cheers!
