Very confusing start

well i didn't really know what to think when this song started, as said below you only really start it at 1.10, i love that part, really beautiful!
i think that your piano should be turned down just a small bit, it sticks out abit too much for my taste

but hell nice track bro, good work!

not polished, needs alot of mastering, but hell you're off to a good start man. I can imagine this becoming a hit really. too bad you decided not to dedicate time to a full track, tho i really think you should just work bit by bit on this one, whenever you got some time...

Yeah, no promises on the full track, i just don't have the enthusiasm for it anymore, it's all fun and games while your playin around, after that part it's boring hard work. But if i'll ever finish it, i'll definetely let you know. Don't wait for it tho.

I'm far from satisfied with the bass.Its just missing something.
I also couldn't fit the pad and chord samples in the track.Maybe some more tweaking will make them sound good, but i'll need more time for sure and i dont have any.Well anyway i'll finish the track and post it here.

First off thanks for your feedback, means alot :)

I really LOVED your intro, it was perfect in every way I could imagine.
I agree with jazzman about the bass, though you certainly don't have to put it an octave lower ;) just a sub will do, and the snare, and maybe a very very little bit more of sustain on your kick, so it blends in with the bass that follows.
Awesome track dude , I'll be looking out for when it's totally finished!

I've put alot of work in the intro and i'm glad that you liked it.
As for the drums i might use a different kick and snare.The current drums are a bit weak for me.I'm wondering how did you not hear the sub? :)

Mixing needs work

Yep you're right about the mixing, it could use alot of extra work.

Except for the melody I can't really fault this, it's good and atmospheric at the start, a fine bass drops in.

About the bass, seems like you have 3? different kinds of basses running. the one that firstly drops in is awesome, then the other one that follows right after sounds abit gritty, dunno if it's supposed to be like that or that it's just a tad too loud that it generates abit of noise..

Well those are the only points of improvement I can see here, rest has the qualities for a top dubstep track!

Yeah, that mixing job is a little wonky. Didn't do much with it, to be honest. =\ I'm gonna take care of this ASAP, I wanna try and diminish some of the loudness of it. Yeah, that second bass is way too loud, and honestly that's probably the biggest problem right there. I'll probably make an addition to this track soon, just to take care of some of the noise in it (alas, I was running outta time for the NGADM; I wanted to finish the track as best I could first, which I was barely able to finish =P). Anyway, glad you liked it, and I'll be sure to check your stuff out too...I think I already have some! ;)
